  • Awarded $840,000 for Sexual Harassment.

    Among Mr. Ramirez’s notable achievements, he sued an international oil exploration company on behalf of an employee who complained of same-sex sexual harassment by a supervisor. Through skillful lawyering, after a multi-week trial, Mr. Ramirez helped persuade the jury to return a verdict in favor of his client. The court ultimately awarded $840,000 ($140,000 verdict + $700,000 attorney fee award), affirmed on appeal in 2014.

  • Disability Discrimination Settlement.

    Mr. Ramirez successfully represented a former senior vice president of a national bank who was terminated because of his disability. As a consequence of skillful lawyering, Mr. Ramirez expanded protections for all California bank executives and obtained a substantial settlement for his client.

  • Seven-figure Settlement for Race Discrimination.

    Mr. Ramirez obtained a near seven-figure settlement for four construction workers who were forced to endure a hostile work environment on account of their race.
